a young teenage girl
was asked to look in a mirror
for homework in
english class
when she looked she did't
know what to say
a friend was with her and said
"explain what you see
in yourself"
she looked at herself
again
and saw all the things
that made her
flash
before her
she sees her father in her more
than her
mother
she has somewhat her mother's attitude,
positive
when she's happy
but her father's attitude
when she's heated
she has her
mother and father's
strengh to be who they
want to be without letting people
get in their way
even when other's
don't believe
they could do it.
she sees bad times.
they made her a stronger
person each time
the girl sees a really
sensitive side
that most
don't know about
most see in her
evil, bossy, quiet, and gullible
she doesn't see how
she could be
evil and quiet
at the same time
she sees herself
as the nicest person anyone can meet
but people don't see that
they take
advantage of her
niceness and generosity and her
real side
all the hate and bull
she puts up with makes her
push harder to get
what she wants
she's a beautiful
teenage girl still
in the making
to become a
grown woman
who will make it
